A daring take on the hero genre, Ramiel - Wrath of God tells the tale of a renegade soldier of the soul: an Angel who forsakes his holy charge to walk among the living and bring virtue to the wicked...discovering not only his own soul, but also a vast and evil conspiracy that threatens every innocent life on Earth.

With genre-bending pencils by Steven Gendron (Outlaw’s Jenna Blue), dream-like colors by Peter Wonsowski, and otherworldly lettering by Deron Bennett, Ramiel - Wrath of God tells a story both visceral and spiritual - action-packed and thought-provoking - a tale of heroes of the hereafter, sinners from the shadows - and the mortals whose souls stand in the balance of light and darkness.

One of the things that makes this comic stand out from the rest (and why you should pick it up yourself) is the look of it. The artwork is stylized with watercolors which gives it a texture quite different than the overly slick digital art that has become the norm. Artist Steve Gendron designs the Heavenly Host to look grounded in a mythical reality – appearing human and clothed with armor and wielding swords delivering graphic and bloody wounds. Gendron tells Marxuach's story quite dramatically with his pacing and panel work. Wonsowski's color work sets the emotional tones well.”
