YOUTH PERFORMER AUDITIONS FOR CHARLOTTE’S WEB

SUSSEX…Tri-State Actors Theater announces auditions for
its 2008 Young Performer Training Program. Tri-State’s
summer program, now in its 21st season, offers area students
the opportunity to learn theater by doing. This season’s
auditions will be held from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm on
Saturdays, May 3, 10, 17 and 24 and June 14 and 21.
Auditions, open to students between the ages of 13 and 17,
will be held at the theater, 74 Main Street, Sussex. This
season’s student intern production will be CHARLOTTE’S
WEB, the musical.

Auditioners will be asked to read from the script and sing a
short song. Audition materials will be provided.
Appointments are not necessary. Stage experience is helpful,
but not a requirement for the audition. The student intern
program runs from July 14 through August 23. Intern classes
include voice, movement, and characterization study. Interns
learn many of the aspects of a play’s production through
hands on experience. CHARLOTTE’S WEB will run from August
6 through August 23. Interns must be available for all
rehearsals and performances.

	Tri-State Actors Theater is a not-for-profit professional,
regional theater and is recognized as one of the tri-state
area's finest theater companies. For further information
regarding auditions and Tri-State’s 2008 season, please
call 973 875-2950 or visit the theater on the web at
www.tristateactorstheater.org. Funding for this season has
been made available in part by a grant from the New Jersey
