Here's an article that discusses the status of other nations’ financial commitments
regarding Iraq:

It is interesting that the Iraq web site that was sited on the first page of this article is no longer open to we, the unwashed public.
I would be very interested in knowing where the 50+ billion of Iraqi sequestered funds mentioned at the end have gone. We have just heard this week in congressional hearings that we shipped 320 tons of dollars($12 billion?) to Iraq under Mr. Bremmer’s watch with little  or no oversight.

You would think that the Sunni nations who are using the US military as their surrogate force in Iraq would be willing to pony up. Alas they demand results for their money and I do not think they are happy with the results. They seem to be more demanding than our own Congress on this point.

Please I am not attacking our troops or their performance. They have done a great job given the impossible mission set out for them by this administration which should be impeached for incompetence. However it seems that this is far less important or damaging to our nation than chasing a skirt for which I said "throw the bugger out" at the time.
