St. Louis Park Public Schools Title I Program
The purpose of St. Louis Park Public Schools Title I program is to provide opportunities to support children in the basic skills areas. The support instruction is to ensure the success of each learner as set forth in the January 2001 Title I Act, "No Child Left Behind."

What can I as a parent do to help my child?
•	By showing interest in their learning
•	By discussing school events and homework studies
•	By monitoring progress
•	By supporting and participating in school activities
•	By conferring with the teacher and asking what skills can be reinforced at home
•	By providing study tools and a quiet place for homework
•	By observing routines for homework, bedtime and other deadlines
•	By building confidence and self-esteem through praise and encouragement
•	By attending family events and visits
•	By reading school communications and providing requested feedback
