The Primary Years Programme (PYP) offers a comprehensive, inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning. It focuses on the development of the whole child. The PYP draws on research and best practices from a range of national systems with a wealth of knowledge and experience from international schools to create a relevant, engaging and challenging educational framework that meets their  academic, social, physical, emotional and cultural needs. Although the curriculum focuses on international perspectives of teaching and learning it also insists that students fully explore their home culture and language. Through the implementation of the PYP curriculum, learning is a process that actively engages the students.
