Directions
From Atlanta travel on I-20 West for approximately 37 miles. Take exit 11 towards Carrollton on Hwy 27 South. Follow for approximately 1.5 miles and turn right onto Bowdon Junction Rd (marked by John Tanner State Park sign) and follow for approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto Hwy 16 (marked by John Tanner State Park sign) and follow for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Tanner’s Beach Road and follow into park. About one hour west of Atlanta.
Distances
Swim: 600 meters
Bike: 11.2 miles
Run: 3.1 miles
Race Information
Registration cutoff is April 16, 2010 or when field limit is reached if earlier.
Field limit is 500.
Transition Area: Bike racks are coordinated to match with your assigned race number. Bike racks will be marked on both ends for easy identification. Place your bike in the rack corresponding with your number.
Body Marking: All triathletes will be marked with race number, age, and category.
Swim Caps: Swim caps are provided in your race packet and must be worn. Your cap color identifies your swim start heat.

Awards in all divisions, awesome/durable t-shirts, cool race packet, post race refreshments, complete results posted on web, awards ceremony with unique awards and door prizes.

6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. Check-in
7:30 a.m. Report to the beach for the swim seed positioning
7:45 a.m. Start sequence information and last minute course updates
8:00 a.m. Race starts

Series Awards
All athletes completing at least three races are eligible for special series awards. The best three races count towards series standings.
Rules
All Tri the Parks races are USAT Sanctioned. All USAT rules are in effect. Approved helmets only, no drafting, and no blocking. All rules will be enforced to ensure a safe and fair competition. All participants, including relay team members, must be a USAT member or purchase a one-day license ($10) at check-in.
