Non-Thermal Laser Therapy
CCW is always researching new and exciting ways to enhance the healing process. One of our newest treatments is LLLT or Low level laser therapy. LLLT is a painless, sterile, noninvasive treatment used to treat a variety of pain syndromes, injuries, wounds, fractures, neurological conditions and pathologies up to 60% faster than traditional therapies and in drug free manner. With this treatment non-thermal photons of light are transmitted through the skin's layers with visible wavelengths and even deeper with the infrared ranges optimizing the immune responses of the blood. This has an anti-inflammatory and immuno-stimulating effect. In addition LLLT desensitizes nociceptors, which are the relatively unspecialized nerve cell endings that initiate the sensation of pain, creating immense pain relief without the use potentially harmful and toxic drugs. In addition infrared light waves enhance cell metabolism by increasing protein synthesis through ATP production and blood circulation increasing cellular regeneration and healing. More specifically the ML830 is the most researched and reputable source of LLLT. It was designed by a team of doctors and medical engineers who found that LLLT at the 830nm (nanometers) wavelength is ideal for healing and pain relief measures. Research and studies continue to evolve and result in exemplary results for many conditions from tendonitis and arthritis to migraines and fibromyalgia.
