Praying to God to receive Christ, the gift of eternal life is available to anyone.  Jesus gave the invitation, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink” (John 7:37).  Jesus was speaking of satisfaction and that He would be able to quench the desire of the true spiritual seeker.  

 

Some would say they are on a spiritual journey, backpacking through the country out to find God.  You won’t find Him out in the bush or under a rock.  He created the heavens and the universe and He has made Himself available to know personally.  The Bible says, “And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us and understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ.  This is the true God and eternal life.” (1John 5:20).
