The December Cruise with the Ballard's
We loved this cruise. We went on Royal Caribbean, which was a new experience for us. We went to St. Johns (US territory), St. Martin/ St. Marteen (Half French/ Half Dutch Territory), Antiqua (British Territory), St. Lucia (British), and Barbados (British, but they spoke French too.) Everywhere we went, they drove on a different side of the road, and in Barbados the steering wheel was on the opposite side too. (Brandon almost killed me at one point, when we rented a car because of driving

Savannah's Baptism
Savannah was Baptized this year by her Daddy! She was very excited. She took her covenants very seriously because when we came home, she brought me a half dozen lip glosses, that I didn’t even know I was missing, and said, “Mommy, I can’t steal anymore, because I am baptized. These are yours.”
Savannah was excited to have her apparently crazy cousins attend. (Karie what is up with your kids and pictures! Who taught them those faces?)

The Rainbow from our House to our New Chapel During its Dedication/ We Got a Yard!!!!
Match up the fences (in your brain) of the two pictures and that is the fence (boundary) between us and the church! The smartest decision we ever made! Our kids just come home after church. (We don’t even go and collect them!) WAHOOOOOOO!
This is also what are new front yard looks like. Minus the fountain Brandon bought me for mother’s day, which is taken apart because it was growing. (The base is in the center of the circle.) Does anyone know what you put in a fountain to keep out the

Aspen Grove Family Camping Reunion/ First day of Kindergarten
We had so much fun at Aspen Grove that we are going again whether you all come or not!!!!!! “I have said it out loud and counted to three!”---name that movie?
The kids had scheduled activities ALL day long, but not just normal activities. “Mormon” activities! It is a church run camp, so it really was the best of everything. The kids are off to class and the adults have scheduled classes to choose from, or just free time to play games. And of corse the the kids love the food! Parents

The Cruise April 2007
Jacob received his “faith in God” award so we took him on his private vacation. We went to Belize, Honduras, and Mexico . In Belize we snorkeled with sharks and rays. In Honduras we rented a taxi for the day and toured the island., went zip-lining, and got to play with a howler monkey, and then spent the day at the beach. In Mexico, we also spent the day at the beach. Can you tell what Jake liked the most? He loved the boat, and disappeared all the time. He an Brandon could be found “

The Fire/ Hougaards Move In/ Catching Bioterrorist Flies
Well as most of you know we had a fire. But we were very blessed and even though it started only inches from our house, it traveled up the mountain, rather then down into our house. The heat from the fire being so close made our back windows explode. Fire trucks from two different cities came to help and it took half the day to put it out because of the wind. Our neighbors forgave us for burning, or should I say melting their trampoline.
We have been the brunt of many jokes. Especially

Chrissy's Life Achievement Award from BYU/ The Cutting of Jake's Hair
Jake cut his hair off. Brandon told him, he could grow it out only until his interview to receive the aaronic priesthood. It is actually even a bit shorter now. His deacon advisor told the whole lot of boys, that if everyone had a missionary hair cut, he would throw them a party.
I got an award from BYU for life accomplishments. I was so honored, and grateful, The best part, was that I got to eat with the presidency of BYU and the general authorities and that past award recipients are
