Offensive Player of the Week:

Curtis Drake (Sr. – QB), Rob Hollomon (Sr. – RB), Raymond Maples (Sr. – RB)

-The Burrs brilliant triple-threat backfield of Drake, Hollomon, and Maples were downright lethal in the Burrs first state playoff game in school history. Try these numbers on for size – A combined 24 rushes for 512 yards and 7 touchdowns! Drake also completed all three of his passes for another 98 yards. Hollomon (25-yard TD) and Maples were the recipients of two of these passes. In the game, the trio surpassed a combined 10,000 yards for their careers. Drake eclipsed the 3,000-yard passing and 2,000-yard rushing marks.  

Defensive Player of the Week:

Haleem Hayward (Sr. – DB)

-Hayward was a steady influence as the Burrs last line of defense in the secondary. He finished with 5 solo tackles, a forced fumble, and pass defend. 

Special Teams Player of the Week:

Tim Carroll (Jr. – K)

-Carroll converted 7-of-8 PAT’s and in the process broke the city record for made extra-points in a season. Carroll now has 77 made PATS, besting the previous record of 73. Congratulations!
