Offensive Player of the Week:

Curtis Drake (Sr. – QB)

-Drake was his usual dynamic self as he orchestrated the offense to 432 total yards on just 23 offensive plays. He rushed 3 times for 94 yards and 1 TD (5 yards) and passed 5-for-6, for 169 yards and a TD (15 yards). Drake also became the first city player ever to pass and rush for 1,000 yards in the same season. Congratulations!  

Defensive Player of the Week:

Chris Williams (Sr. – DE)

-Williams helped the Burrs create some separation early when he scooped up a fumble and returned it 5 yards for a touchdown. This was Williams’ first career varsity touchdown. He also added seven total tackles (5 solos, TFL) for the Burr defense. 

Special Teams Player of the Week:

Saeed Briscoe (Sr. – WR)

-Briscoe was active participant on the Burr kickoff coverage with four solo tackles.
