Offensive Player of the Week:

Brandon Hollomon (Jr. – RB)

-The junior tailback erupted in the second half where he scored three third quarter touchdowns and gained 128 yards on just 6 carries. For the game, he toted 8 times for 135 yards and four total scores. He also added a 16-yard reception and a 28-yard punt return.

Defensive Player of the Week:

Jim Lynch (Jr. – DE)

-The rangy defensive end was a presence in the Dougherty backfield all night where he made seven tackles (5 solos) and recorded a sack. Six of his stops went for losses that accumulated 26 yards.  

Special Teams Player of the Week:

Kevin Burns (Jr. – LB)

-This consistent special team’s performer was a force throughout. In the third quarter he cleanly snuffed out a punt, and then hustled to fall on it in the end zone for his first career touchdown. He made four tackles on kickoff coverage and added another tackle from his linebacker position in the fourth quarter.
