Offensive Player of the Week:

Quran Kent (Jr. – WR)

-The shifty junior wide receiver provided the spark the Burrs needed when he took a pass 80 yards late in the first half for a score. The touchdown gave the Burrs a 14-7 lead and they would never look back. He finished the game with 97 yards on two catches. He also added a 29-yard kickoff return.  Kent now has eclipsed the 500-yard receiving mark for the season.

Defensive Player of the Week:

Jim Lynch (Jr. – DE)

-Lynch was a fixture in the Lancers’ backfield all night. All total he finished with three sacks. Six of seven stops came behind the line of scrimmage. All total the losses accumulated 32 yards.   

Special Teams Player of the Week:

Tim Carroll (Sr. – K)

-Carroll belted all five of his extra-point attempts. This gave him 157 for his career, which ties a city record. He also did a good job on kickoffs send the ball on average to the fifteen yard line.
