Organize or Host a Fundraiser

We recognize that traveling to India to assist in the education process is not an option for many people. (However if you are interested in volunteering, please feel free to contact us!) We also know that an international project takes a great deal of organization and time- much of which can be a powerful contribution from people who are state-side. Grassroots projects need passionate people undertaking tasks in many fields. If this is you, please feel free to let us know! Whether it be an auction, a music benefit, a speaking engagement, a raffle, etc. we here at A Wiser World look for opportunities to connect Americans with the people, culture, and educational work in Kaza. If you organize it- we can provide you with the information and resources you might need to make this happen. We’d love to hear your idea for creating an AWW event in your neck of the woods!

Here are some ideas to get you started…
A book and postage drive at your local school or library
A house meeting in the form of an Indian dinner, Chai-tea party, or Wine and Cheese Eve to discuss and show photos of the Kaza project
A silent auction at a community group
A raffle
A benefit concert with local musicians and artists
A presentation and collection at your place of worship
Invite the founders to speak at your school or meeting
