Herman Miller, USA commissioned Michael Gibson, to create a site specific instillations for the new Herman Miller, USA National Design Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Gibsons’ wife, artist
Carolyn Carr, was also invited to create a  public work.  Gibson
and Carr are married artists, not unlike Charles sand Ray Eames, the founding designers of Herman
Miller.
