ROOTS
Carolyn was born in Montreal, Quebec in a family from Italian, French and Native American roots. A passion for the waves has lead her to live near ocean shores in Costa Rica, Hawaii and now California.
Her mom realized early on the incredible amount of energy and physical ability that needed to be focused towards something positive. Whether it was finding her swinging from the shower curtains, hanging from the 2nd floor window or using the closet rods as monkey bars, this was enough sign her up for gymnastics classes at age 4!
TRAINING
By age 11, Carolyn had become the youngest Elite competitor at the National Gymnastics Championships in Canada.
Horsemanship and equestrian arts, springboard and tower diving, trampoline, dance, circus performance, acting, screen fighting and stage play are also in her bag of tricks!
CIRCUS
In 1999, she travelled on a 3 year Tour as a Trick Riding Acrobat and, with an equestrian circus called “Cheval Theatre” from Gilles Ste-Croix, Director of Creation of Cirque du Soleil.
As a Media Spokeswoman she gave over 250 Live and Pre-Recorded interviews for Television, Radio and Print Carolyn, in French, Spanish and English!
SURFING
In 2005, she competed as a surfer in the first ever Women’s Pipeline Surfing Championships on the North Shore of Oahu. That year she competed the season in the Hawaii Amateur Surfing Association’s Season, and placing 2nd in Longboard & 4th in Shortboard in the Women’s division
she finished the season in the Top 12 at the Surfing USA Championships in Huntington Beach.
She continues to develop her competitive skills, in 2007 by surfing at Nationals , NSSA Explorer Women’s Division.

GIVING BACK
She has completed an Associate’s Degree in Clinical Criminology at the University of Montreal. She has also received intensive training as volunteer in an suicide crisis center and been involved in Hawaii as a volunteer Youth Coach and Mentor for Breakthroughs for Youth at Risk.
She loves to accept invitations to speak with children and teenagers about following their dreams and shares exercises that help them develop a vision of themselves in the future.
