April 18, 1977

This is my re-mastered recital that I performed on April 18, 1977 at THE Ohio State University. I would like to thank Don Golden, the band director, that helped me put this together. I was amazed the reel-to-reel tape kept the sound so well. I was also amazed that I barely remembered the songs.

I would also like to thank Dana Peters, my accompanist, that without him, I wouldn’t have gotten through the recital. Thanks Dana!

Finally, my parents, who allowed me to sing and perform. Music is such a big part of my life and this recital was a huge undertaking, both emotional and physically. At the recital, my father was asked “does this cost any money to attend the recital?” My father’s response was “$25,000, I haven’t heard her sing in a year!” Thanks Dad
