Oooh, la la la. Oooh, la la la.

Oooh, la la la. Oooh, la la la.

Oooh, la la la. Oooh, la la la.

Oooh, la la la. Oooh, la la la.

I watch the world through an old, cracked window

Everybody looks the same

Nothing ever looks any different

It’s just an empty sea of grey

And then, on the greyest of mornings

I see a little glimpse of red

Can’t comprehend this little beauty

This is way over my head.

Red lips on a grey morning

There’s nothing that I can do

I look deeper into my mirror

But all I can see is you

Your little red has expanded my vision

It’s all I can think about

It’s like a big incision

That cuts away all of my doubt

Wait by the window every morning

Just to see your bright red lips

I never ever heeded the warning

That loose lips can sink ships

Red lips on a grey morning

There’s nothing that I can do

I look deeper into my mirror

But all I can see is you

In the moment when you walk on by

I am filled with total bliss

When you walk on,

I’m left in sadness

All I ask for is one red kiss

Red lips on a grey morning

There’s nothing that I can do

I look deeper into my mirror

But all I can see is you

Oooh, la la la. Oooh, la la la.

Oooh, la la la. Oooh, la la la.

Oooh, la la la. Oooh, la la la.

Oooh, la la la. Oooh, la la la.

Oooh.

Red Lips on a

Grey Morning
