Sports Gear Go ‘Round is an organization created to provide the necessary equipment for individuals or teams to accomplish and satisfy their needs to play a sport. Donations will be distributed both locally and other places including Africa. We are accepting both new and used equipment for any sports such as soccer, basketball, running, etc. Bring donations to the blue barn or contact one of the league officials.

****Coupons - Bring new or used sports gear to the blue barn for a coupon towards a discount on player registration fee. Discount will be determined on the condition of the sports equipment. Coupon has no cash value.

We currently play our games at 2 locations in Berkeley:


     Gabe Catalfo fields (grass)  -  Rainout number for Gabe field is 510-981-5161. There’s a $250.00 fine for playing on a closed field.


     Tom Bates Regional Sports Center a.k.a. Gilman field (artificial turf)  -   Only water is allowed on the artificial turf. No dogs, bikes, skateboards, gum, nuts, food, alcohol, smoking, no gatorade, no vitamin water or any drink other than water. Individuals violating this the first time is fined $50 and must leave the field. $100 fine for the team the second time and the entire team must leave the field, third time a $200 fine, team must leave the field and loses its slot for the rest of the season.  


     ALCOHOL and SMOKING is not allowed on any sports field in the state of California.
