Nothing like a lazy afternoon spent in Venice beach decompressing along the boardwalk, soaking in rays and watching all the wacky people. Today I met Dr. John who has been a part of Venice beach since the days of The Doors.  He’s pictured below in the last frame holding the American flag wearing a Santa hat.  Just from speaking with him briefly, I found out he’s a painter, chakra herbalist healer, political activist, and victim of multiple false arrests by the Venice beach police.
