I am Captain Outrageous
It’s my legal name .. says so on my Florida driver’s license.
I’ve been living in Key West for thirty years. I dropped out of a successful business career to come here to live. I’ve owned a restaurant & bar; and I’ve painted. And painted. And painted. My style is my own. My canvases are any objects that look like they need to be painted.
Now I’ve stopped painting for the public, and I’m collecting some my earlier work in preparation for opening a museum in 2007. I opened and now operate an art gallery on Caroline St. that presents the work of George Crosby, sometimes called a chronicler of the dark, for his night scenes of New York City, Key West and other exotic locations.
