Getting tired of seeing Cindy Sheehan, and now all of the tag along celebs getting into the war protests.  Simply, because it is getting really stupid.  The only purpose Cindy Sheehan has in this now is to look like an aged high school dork that has an addiction to attention.  The only purpose the celebs have it PR .... if they really cared they would have protested from the beginning.

 

   Now ..... Am I for the war ...no.  I think there were at least 100 ways we are going to get to the same resolution in the end (Hussein is out, the terrorists are kept at bay, and the oil barons have fuel for their Hummers).  We did not have to blow the sh@t out of millions of people homes, and places of work and create a much worse situation for some of these people than they already have to liberate them.   Should we start pulling out now ... no.  Like I said, we just blew the sh@t out of millions of peoples homes to basically get a few people.  We now have a huge responsibility to play this out to the end - with allot better planning at this point.

 

   Do I think Ms. Sheehan should be completely shut down, no.  This IS her right to free speech.   We stop that, we might as well just go into full martial law and name Bush as dictator.  Do I think Ms Sheehan is doing damage at this time, yes.  I think she is at the point where she is hurting the moral of our troops.  These are the people that will come back to our country to defend it if we ever do get directly attacked or invaded.  I don’t know about you, but I want them coming back home with one heck of a good morale and at least slightly mentally stable.

 

   Think about allot of the soldier’s point of view.   Many of them signed up to get a good educations, defend the country, etc.  Whatever the reason, they all went into this with the knowledge that they might have to take up arms and defend freedom, and defending freedom may include having to go to war and kill other human beings.  Now, unless you are already a deranged psychopath, that goes against everything you have been taught most of your life.  These soldiers, at least 90% hold up to their contract while keeping their morals, beliefs, and integrity.  Some even come out of this better human beings.  This is amazing in itself.  On the other hand if you throw in people like Cindy Sheehan that are now taking her protests to a level that makes the soldiers think they are going to be hated and spit on when they get back simply for doing their contracted jobs, you create a HUGE morale problem.  You start making these soldiers lose integrity, question religious belief, and more or less mentally f*ck them up.  So instead of a good solid soldier coming back from a war to possibly defend our country at a later date, you get back a mentally twisted, confused person.   Protesting is good ..... thinking out how you protest to direct it to the correct people and not hurt the wrong people is even better.   So Ms Sheehan ... people will support you more if you think first, and shoot off mouth second.   All you are doing now, Ms Sheehan, is creating anger against our troops, not the people that made the mistakes in this war.  She is hurting the wrong people.

   Do I support the war completely? .... no, but we do have to finish what we started.   Do I support our troops 100%? ...  yes.  It’s because of them I don’t have to stand outside the door of my house with an automatic weapon to defend myself from terrorists, like some people in other countries have to do, just to protect their families.
