The facility is a beautiful 1927 mission-style building that once housed the first operator assisted phone company in the San Fernando Valley. We are located in the heart of Main Street Canoga Park, recognized by the national trust for historic preservation. This historic area has become a center for art and culture. We are just footsteps away from the Madrid Theater, the Canoga Park Historic Museum, the Main Street Performing Arts Studio and the Owensmouth Playhouse.

In 2000, the facility was renovated with Prop K funds and dedicated as a community youth arts center operated by the city of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs

The Canoga Park Youth Arts Center features
three art studio/classroom spaces where we offer
our ongoing art workshops to children and teens.
The facility includes a digital arts lab, photography darkroom, garden patio and a spacious light-filled gallery presenting displays of student work as well as exhibitions featuring professional artists and arts organizations.
