 Cannonball Bike Run kicks the doors down into it’s 3rd year on our global crusade to live life to the absolute fullest.

THE FORMAT
In it’s first two years Cannonball Bike Run has quickly evolved into an event that means different things to different people: A private gathering of the best riders in Europe. A personal challenge for those completing each and every mile. And a mobile riot for the party animals out to get wild.

The format is one part riding ability, one part personal challenge and one part “party central”. A rolling spectacle pit-stopping at Europe’s major hot-spots.

Each day averages 9 hours fantastic, intense riding. Motorway sections are kept to a minimum, the focus being on sublime mountain & back road routes where every mile is one to savour and enjoy.

CBR is the antithesis of the “look at me” car rally with fat bankers in Ferraris and gay fancy dress. From day one CBR set the standard for a new format of event that enables riders to fully enjoy every aspect without inducing unnecessary levels of fatigue, without long, monotonous motorway legs and without the requirement to speed in order to not miss out. CBR is all about spirited, safe riding and living life to the absolute fullest. Read more about the event format here.

To increase the element of surprise for the riders, no details of the 2007 event are being pre-released. The details of each day’s stage are only revealed each morning.

Of course it’s not a race but trophies are given out for the spirit of the rally and other achievements along the way.

As well as individual honours, riders may ride for the Nations Cup - a unique opportunity to represent your country for the Legends of CBR Awards.

There is no limit to the number of teams a country may enter and each team may have a maximum of 4 riders. Please see The Forum for details of how to form a National Team.

The key thing though is the craic. The overnight venues will be genuinely first class, the parties stuff of legend and surprise activities included that will blow your mind.

Whatever you enter, whichever your reason, arrive in the understanding that you are amidst an experience that no-one else on the planet can compete with.
