Cannonball Bike Run 2009 Itinerary CBR 2009 will start in Tangier and end in Marrakech, Morocco. The Itinerary is as follows: Sunday June 21st 2009:
- Riders fly into Malaga, Spain (Malaga is served by numerous budget airlines) - CBR 2009 Launch Party in Malaga Monday June 22nd 2009:
- Official Start of Event - AM - All riders transported from Malaga to the departure port for ferry to Tangier, Morocco - Collection of bikes, rider sign-in and briefing - PM - Stage 1 Tuesday June 23rd - Friday June 26th 2009 - Stages 2, 3, 4, & 5 
Note: To maintain the element of surprise the exact route, activities and destinations are only revealed on each day of the event Saturday June 27th 2009 - Stage 6 - Final Night Party in Marrakech Sunday June 28th 2009 - Return to Spain for bike drop-off and flight home. - Riders may optionally extend their stay with an extra day & night of recovery/discovery in Marrakech. - Return ferry and bike drop-off is available throughout the next 2 days according to your personal choice. “The road opens out to a stream of open sweepers. Ahead of the game, we enjoy the steady wave of riders overtaking us. Their eyes are covered by darkened visors but the demeanor conveys their total joy.”
