The Callaway C12 automobiles were produced from 1997 through 2001. They are production automobiles that were created to win the GT2 class at Le Mans. In fact, the Callaway C12 took class pole position at Le Mans in 2001, beating Porsche, Ferrari and all other brands. Road car versions were homologated and produced in parallel.

The C12 project was a joint effort between IVM, a German automotive engineering services company, and Callaway Cars Inc.

The cars were designed by Paul Deutschman, and produced jointly by Callaway Competition in Leingarten Germany and Callaway Cars Inc. in Old Lyme Connecticut.  Twenty cars, road and race specification, were constructed. The project achieved full vehicle manufacturer status in Germany

These cars were built to a standard, not a cost. They were optimized for the regulations at Le Mans.  Today, they are still fast, beautiful and now, collectible.  We have detailed records on all cars produced. C12 ownership is diverse and initially represented by clients such as Dale Earnhardt Jr., Otis Chandler, Andrew McKelvey, Ely Callaway, Rick Hendrick and Tommy Mottola

Owners and enthusiasts are invited to comment and supply photos or ownership details.

From time to time a C12 appears on the market.  This site contains background information about the individual cars and their provenance as well as notations on cars that may be for sale.
