Kitchener Handrail
Kitchener Handrail is a twenty-eight metre long linear sculpture comprised of new, ready-made scythe handles. The handles were chosen to engage the haptic theme of this show and to refer to the rural work that has made up such a big part of Kitcheners recent past.  The work is site specific and will act as both a tactile handrail and an undulating sculptural line.
