As economic necessity forces more and more people into urban centers, the extensiveness of the individual dwelling becomes less and less. This reflective piece suggests a world of composite layers of overcrowding and expresses an admonition against this congestion while hinting towards a hope of individual spatial freedom.

Artist Bio
In-Sun Kim’s work deals with daily living space using the compartment-like objects she creates. This leads her to examine the relationship and tension between the objects and humans in the limited space. She received a BFA from the E-Wha Women’s University in Seoul, Korea and her MFA from the University of Waterloo. She has been included in solo exhibitions and numerous collective exhibitions nationally and internationally.
In-Sun participated in CAFKA.05: X Industria with her installation Industrial Proposition.
