This documentary was done by students John Rosman and Eric Rutledge, under the supervision of Jon Palfreman. We think, like the original makers of “Ed’s Co-Ed,” that they’ve done a great job. The University of Oregon is now considering a Cinema Studies discipline and our film, “Let’s Do It,” is actively supporting its hoped-for arrival during the 80th anniversary of the making of the original student film. 2008 University of Oregon Documentary - “Reinventing Ed’s Co-Ed”
As you probably know if you’re on this site, in 1929, it was two University of Oregon students who decided to make a movie called “Ed’s Co-Ed.”
This year, in 2008, two more U of O students decided to make a documentary called “Reinventing Ed’s Co-Ed.”
