Be a Force Multiplier!
When it comes to helping people help themselves, Colin Powell has famously said that “Optimism is a force multiplier.” We agree with him and want to share with you a way to increase the power of your charitable gifting this holiday season.
Buy your books now before they’re in the stores. Pre-ordering your copies now still means you get your copies for the holidays to give your friends and co-workers, but it means we can print and sell more copies.
Here’s how that works. Books are done in print runs. Our first run is literally at the printers as this is written. The more books we know that are already bought and paid for means we can increase the print order and sell more total during the 2006 holidays. Since there is a time crunch during the gift-giving season, this means we need your order as soon as possible.
Look at it this way. Every book you buy puts $5 into our charitable fund which will be distributed to the twenty charities. But if you buy it now, we can order another one to take its place and sell that one to someone else, too. That means charities will be likely to get $10 after the holiday season from your purchase. You can become our “The Hollywood Cookbook” force multiplier!
There are three ways for you to pre-order:
Order from Amazon.com. This is the simplest and easiest way for you to get involved, particularly for small orders. You’ll see that Amazon will send you your books the minute they get them in. Our first print run is due to be available at the first of November.
Go to your local bookseller. We are going to be available in all the large chains, such as Barnes & Noble, and Borders. Simply go to any bookstore now and order the book. Give them the title and the ISDN #1596370831.
For orders of 50 or more books, call or e-mail our marketing director, the incomparable Leslie Feibleman. Those numbers are on our contact page, so just CLICK HERE.
Along with all our generous celebrities, talented chefs and worthwhile charities, we thank you for considering ordering your books now. We know it requires an extra effort on your part, and we do appreciate it! Thank you so very much!
