Hello Representative Barbara Lee,

 

 

I will no longer under any circumstance, other than the dems getting  a back bone an stepping up to clearly protect the constitution, vote for another politician within the democrat party. Only you are excluded from this self imposed rule.

 

 

I have been at a loss as to what possible play book your party has been using. Though the voices of the people have made it LOUD & clear through the ballot and grassroots organizing what we want and what we expect, it seems to fall on deaf ears. This is, as innocent people die and countless war veterans return to the US either in bags or with massive physical, emotional and psychological problems / issues.

 

On top of working class people having no jobs, poor public schools, diminishing affordable housing, NO health care etc. poor people are now also having to deal with individuals home from a war that could snap and kill their families or a bus load of people or a stranger walking down the street because of what has happened to them AND what they have done over in Iraq. The government offers a 2 year waiting list for help and referrals. Two years? And this is okay?

 

I am tired of hearing excuses about why President Shrub cannot be stopped and that we just need to give your party more time. More time for what? Our country is sinking deeper and deeper in consumption patterns that distract and pacify. If when we wake up as a nation, and maybe just maybe take to the streets in numbers no one has ever seen before in this country, the democratic party will need to admit its hand in the erosion of our rights and liberties. Silence = culpability. When Shrub calls martial law on protesters and places us in detention  camps, will it then be the time to stand up and stop this madness?  Hopefully by that time there will be enough of us still standing free to support you in that task.....likely there won't be.
