Sandy Burstein, born in South Africa, has impacted the art world for over 40 years. Sandy has developed a unique style using intuition and imagination as her muse rather than pursuing traditional techniques. It was not long before she expanded her horizons to include diverse mediums, such as carved wood panels painted in oils, oils on canvas, etchings, murals, sculptures and her latest, woven tapestries. Today her works are displayed in collections in America, Israel, Canada, England, Germany, Holland and South Africa. Sandy is continually drawing inspiration from the forces of life, translating that inspiration into vibrant multi-dimensional artistic statements. The originality and magnitude of Burstein's work soon attracted the attention of major corporations in South Africa and abroad.
