Amanda Burgess-Proctor, Ph.D.
Amanda Burgess-Proctor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology & Anthropology at Oakland University. She received her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University. Her primary research interests include feminist criminology, criminological theory, intimate partner violence, and intersections of race, class, and gender. She has published articles in Feminist Criminology, Violence Against Women, Violence & Victims, and Women & Criminal Justice.
