Scoreboard
...is an application with clock, scorekeeping, and logging capabilities that can also display up to 24 scores at once (for tournament play, all using the same clock). It was originally written for Subbuteo* matches when I decided the little kitchen timers just didn't seem to add much to the feel of the game.
Scoreboard is free to anybody that finds it useful for individual matches, league play, or tournaments.
Version 2.5 adds several new options, including custom images, sounds, and messages displayed after a goal is scored.
Scoreboard features:
- Customized timer
- Whistles, crowd sounds
- Select your own board, text and score colors
- Your choice of scoreboard fonts
- Enter your own message for the top of the scoreboard
- Use a picture as a background for customized scoreboards
- HTML and text logging of results (currently soccer/hockey type scoring only)
New features in Scoreboard version 2.5:
- Image for each player or team (for instance, a team badge or logo)
- Custom message to display after each player's or team's score
- User-created custom sounds to play after each player's or team's score
Connect your computer to a projector or television and display all of your match scores on a big screen. My hope is that this application will make your game play just a little more fun and provide a bit of atmosphere.
