All Dog Play Skool began in 1997. In the beginning, the Skool was located off Huguenot Rd.. It offered obedience classes and daycare. Being the first doggy daycare in Richmond, people thought Cindy Briggs, the owner, was out of her mind. But the people who thought that didn’t have and love dogs as all of us do. The first location grew so fast, a second location began on Thalbro St. It was bigger and offered agility, obedience manners, boarding and daycare.

Today, there are classes every night of the week  and some specialty classes on the weekends. Cindy brings in speakers from out of town to supplement training her own trainers as well as offering training to others in the area.

The daycare and boarding can hold up to 70 dogs. There is staff taking care of the pups 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All Dog Play Skool has set the standard for how a daycare business is run.

In 2004 it won Richmond Magazine’s “Best Doggy Daycare” award.
