On Thursday, Emily had her tonsils and adenoids removed at Emanuel Children’s Hospital.  She did beautifully and was brave the whole time.  Her surgery went smoothly, she dealt well with the anesthesia, and everyone at the hospital was wonderful.   We were there for about eight hours before being released to recover at home.  Hopefully in the next several days, she’ll be back to her old spunky self.  Below are a few photos...the first is just after having the “relaxing” medicine and the others are after surgery enjoying a popsicle.  The last is how she’s been the last couple days.  What a sweetheart.  Oh...and the very last two are of Addie...she managed to have a run-in with the cement while we were with Emi at the hospital.
