VOCATION.

                                                What’s that?

“Vocare” is the Latin verb meaning “to call.” The English “vocation” comes from that root and means a “calling.” Come, follow me is the invitation of Jesus Christ to His apostles on the Sea of Galilee. They receive their vocation from His call, His desire for their lives...

                                   HAPPINESS.

                                                What’s that?

It’s a fulfillment of the heart that God alone satisfies. Only in God and His will for us will we ever find the truth and happiness we never stop searching for. But during our sojourn on Earth, there IS a chosen path for each person--for you--that will lead you best to happiness here and now...

                                   SALVATION.

                                                What’s that?

*Eternal* happiness. The whole point of life! At the end of the day, no matter what goodies you’ve stored up on earth, you’re taking ONE thing with you to eternity. YOU. The entire point of life is to be taken by God to heaven after death. God wants this for us so bad! Anything shy of salvation--marriage, the Church, works of justice, charity, and peace, earthly loves, prayer--all good things--are simply MEANS through which God can perfect our souls before taking us to heaven. We need the eternal happiness of God in heaven: the list of alternatives is short and unappealing.

But there IS a chosen path for each person--for you--that will lead you best to eternal salvation...

Who would want to do *that*?

That’s just for priests and nuns, right?

                                                                                                       What a waste...

Why don’t you do something more...normal?
