me:

i write fiction and live in the Midwest. i placed second in the 2001 Raymond Carver Short Story Contest of Humboldt State University’s literary magazine, Toyon, and my first published short story, “Hand Towel with Oleanders,” appeared in Rosebud issue no. 27.
