Overview:  Did you know there is a heated debate about getting rid of the penny?  For this week’s assignment, you get the opportunity to watch a video, examine three websites (which represent the pro and con side of the penny argument), and post a one paragraph position statement explaining where you stand.

Here are the guidelines:

First, watch the video with Jeff Gore and Stephen Colbert.

If for some reason you are unable to view the video, then you can still complete the assignment by visiting the webpages below.  :)

Second, visit these websites and spend a minimum of 5 minutes reading each site.
