I bought a new DSLR camera awhile ago and have started to use it more and more. I’m currently experimenting with high dynamic resolution (HDR) shots. HDR uses several identical images that are shot at different exposures then blended with an application such as Photomatix to produce a more natural or dynamic image. This type of picture works best where the scene is static and the variation in light and shadow is quite broad. Things such as landscapes shot in twilight or mist
