Learning another language helps students communicate effectively as well as opens students eyes to a world outside their neighborhood. Being able to speak another language makes you more marketable to future employers.

Profesora Bordner is from Missouri where she first learned Spanish in high school just like all her students. She has traveled to more than 13 countries including Peru, Costa Rica, Spain and Argentina. She has worked in Mexico and Switzerland, and can also speak a bit of French.
