Well our internet is finally back up and our house is back in order. I know there’s a lot of people wondering how we fared. All in all we were just fine. Aside from items broken around the house and lots of clean up, we were very lucky. especially considering other people around town lost windows and had flooding (the Gionson’s included).
I was just getting out of bed and Bonnie was just showing up at work. The epicenter of the first quake , a 6.7, was right next to where Bonnie works and about 13 miles from our home. The second, a 6.0 was a little further away but scared us just the same.
Well, just wanted everyone to know we were fine. Just had a lot of cleaning up to do. Not exactly the way I wanted to spend my birthday weekend, but at least we were all safe.
