This album shows The Pig; the tent we set up waterside for Noel and Jemma to stay the night in; Robert rowing Amy to Birchgrove wharf (25 minutes rowing) as every boat in Sydney heads into position for the nights fireworks; the revellers preparing in Yurullbin point park, next to the wharf; and Noel rowing Jemma and Robert back to the flat.
New Years Eve 2006/7
The Pig, successfully baked using Delia.
60 Louisa Road, and our faithful macpac tent, from the water.
One of the five barges of fireworks was just off our flat.
Every boat in Sydney heads towards the harbour bridge...
Luckily for us in our borrowed dinghy, there was a six knot speed limit all day.
Robert and Amy arrive at the wharf, where Jemma and Noel were waiting.
Jemma and Noel arrived in Birchgrove the only real way - by ferry.
At Yurullbin park, next to the wharf, people and boats were vying for the best spots hours early.
Amy decided to walk back to the flat when the load factor in the dinghy was assessed.
Noel, with female guest, felt obliged to row us back. Robert felt obliged to give instruction.
Noel successfully returned us to the flat.
