After our final final departure in September 2005, we wend our way back to Jolly Old to find it still very much England and our family & friends still very much fabulous!
We decided to limit the number of moves we made once actually in England to limit Amy’s exhaustion. This inevitably meant hard decisions about who we were going to see in 3 weeks, but I think it went very well.
We stayed with my parents, Felix and Dominic, Chris and Gilly, Ed and Arianna, and at a B&B in Totland Bay. Amy

In an attempt to avoid that dilemma so often demonstrated in London of immigrating there only to never ever step a small toe outside, say, SW3, we exited our Balmain Village and trekked it steadily westerly. Tortilla a la espanola
This entry is for all you cooks out there, but particularly for one Slovenian kitchen whizz (you know who you are!).
As an intro, this dish is tasty and, key during these tough economic times, inexpensive. You don’t get much cheaper than potatoes, eggs and onions. The single most expensive ingredient is olive oil, but you really don’t use much of that. You can serve the dish hot or cold. Turning 40
Well, middle age is upon us. It can no longer be denied. I find, however, myself oddly not at odds with this inevitable development. Bobrail and I both are still out here, still chugging along, still on our feet, and still together and happy. Bring on the second half: We’re as ready as we’ll ever be!
