On the following pages you can see samples of my digital and traditional artwork and some photographs and the odd movie, please take a while to browse. The painting you see here is one of my demonstration Paintings which measures 36 inches x 30 inches. It was painted from a photograph supplied by Alan Forbes a student at one of my art classes. The view is from Camusterrach (part of Applecross) on the N W coast of Scotland looking out, over towards the Cuillin ridge of Skye (just above the first cottage). The painting, which took approximately two hours to paint was painted in Rennies Art Shop in Bold Street, Liverpool on Saturday 3rd October 2009, it was one of two paintings completed on the day "The artist ought first to exercise his hand by copying drawings from the hand of a good master."
