Tyra Hounds and Horses is the realization of a lifelong dream of ours to own and raise quality AQHA and APHA horses as well as top notch bloodhounds.  After many years of hard work and dedication, we have finally reached the point where we are able to show the rest of the world our outstanding horses and bloodhounds.  We have spent the last 10 years putting together a herd of quality horses as well as finding the right breeding pair of hounds.

Showing and breeding AQHA and APHA horses has been Tanya’s passion and she is  finally on her way and has been showing locally for the last couple of years.  While she has not done anything big yet, she has done well at the local shows and now has the breed quality horses that will take her to the next level.  Check out the Tyra Performance Horses for information on the horses, show results, and upcoming events.

Hunting hounds has been Bobby’s hobby and he was able to produce the first litter of bloodhounds this past June.  The hounds have been out hunting and should be getting lots of work this coming fall.  There is more information on the hounds and litters on the Tyra Hunting Hounds page.

It is our desire to create quality horses and hounds that have outstanding dispositions, conformation, and the ability to excel in the disciplines that they are trained in and bred for.  We are breeding and training not only quality animals but lifelong friends as well.
