Louder Than Words present an outstanding 50th Anniversary arena production of Broadway’s greatest musical starring leading performers from London's West End. Immortalised on film and winner of numerous awards, this groundbreaking musical was first presented on Broadway in 1957 and remains a timeless classic that has been performed to packed houses worldwide ever since.

 

This special anniversary production of Broadway's greatest musical is directed by Andrew MacBean whose illustrious international credits include work with Stephen Sondheim, Jerome Robbins and Arthur Laurents as well as being the associate director for Trevor Nunn's productions of Sunset Boulevard and and Aspects of Love in the West End and on Broadway.

 

Leonard Bernstein's multi award-winning score is performed live by the West End Theatre Orchestra conducted by Andrew Smith and includes the hit songs “Maria”, “America”, “Somewhere”, “Something's Coming”, “Gee, Officer Krupke” and “The Jet Song”. The unique arena / in the round setting for this production has been created by acclaimed designer Ben M Rogers whose international credits include tours and festival productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Fame, Grease, Noise Ensemble and Chicago.
