Welcome to downtown Owensboro.  Owensboro is in the midst of an exciting and ambitious downtown revitalization initiative.  Our goal is to create an environment that attracts people to live, work and play in downtown Owensboro.  At present we are engaged in a downtown placemaking initiative that will provide us the master plan to realize our goal.  The EDC has retained Gateway Planning Group, Inc. to lead the town planning and implementation effort for the initiative.
