Fees:

$70 per hour for private lessons in Nevada County

$80 per hour for private lessons outside of the County

$40 per hour/per person for group lessons at your location (4 to 6 people)

$300 per hour for international lessons outside the U.S.

Horsemanship Foundations I
Focus:  Gain leadership, mutual respect, mental & physical softness through the principles of pressure and  release. 
Initial focus on groundwork and its transfer into the saddle and beyond.

 

Horsemanship - Advanced Techniques
Focus:  Refining your touch, collection and balance, lateral work, moving through obstacles and lead changes.


Fundamentals of:

•  Refining your Touch
•  Collection and balance
•  Lateral work
•  Obstacles and water crossings
•  Fluid lead changes
** Very little groundwork will be done in this class.
Riders must be comfortable riding at the walk, trot & canter.
Riders must understand the basics of riding and leads.

Trail Riding Clinic - Sierra Nevadas
Focus:  Traveling safely with your horse and having fun doing it.


Fundamentals of:

•  Trailer loading 

•  What to bring  

•  Choosing a route and safety

  1. • Dealing with emergencies

  2. •  Obstacles and water crossings

•  Reading the trail

•  Responsibilities - yours and the horse’s

  1. *Additional participant travel costs if offsite trail is used.


Fees:

$150 per day for participants, $30 per day for auditors.
