Back in the Fall of 2005, I was one of the 40 finalists selected by CWC to be featured in the "Super Photogenic Blythe Photo Contest" www.blythedoll.com/jpn/contest2005/index.html I had the amazing good fortune of then being honored as the "Miss Popularity" winner which means my photo got to be on the cover of the book. In December I went to Tokyo (my first time!) for the lovely party CWC put on at Junie Moon to launch the book and to see our photos displayed at Gallery LELE. I met SO MANY wonderful new Japanese friends. It was, literally the best and happiest days of my life, visiting Tokyo, being honored at the lovely party and book launch and just experiencing the amazing, wonderful and beautiful Japanese culture. I adore Tokyo and cannot wait to go back again!

This is the story of Hero, my Cozy Cape, and her lovely adventures in Tokyo. Of course she had to have an "entourage" and so three of her sisters got to come with us. Stina-Lisa (Kenner--and my first Blythe ever), Broccoli McGee (Love Mission) and Anne-Marie (Disco Boogie). Hero was so incredibly happy (and nervous!) that she was to go to Japan. Her sisters made the trip extra fun and the girls were busily immersing themselves in guidebooks and websites so they could figure out where they wanted to visit. Broccoli McGee, of course, was the most vocal of the group and planned our activities with magnificent perfection. (A coping mechanism, no doubt, as Hero is the current "It" girl in our home and has the most attention.) Broccoli was on her best behavior and all the girls were there to support our little Hero.
